COVID-19 SHELTER PROTOCOLS

ALL INDIVIDUALS ENTERING THE SHELTER FOUR (4) YEARS AND OLDER ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS COVERING THEIR MOUTH AND NOSE. MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES BY STAFF AND WHEN RESIDENTS ARE NOT IN THEIR ASSIGNED ROOMS.

TEMPERATURE SCREENINGS FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS WILL TAKE PLACE PRIOR TO ENTERING THE PREMISES AND ANY PERSON WITH A TEMPERATURE OF 100.4 OR ABOVE WILL BE RESTRICTED FROM ENTERING THE BUILDING.

SAM25 WILL RESTRICT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE SHELTER FACILITY TO ENSURE PROPER SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES CAN TAKE PLACE. THE NUMBER OF SHELTER RESIDENTS WILL BE RESTRICTED DUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES..

ALL MEALS WILL BE SERVED IN INDIVIDUAL ROOMS;  THERE SHALL BE NO FOOD OR DRINK CONSUMED IN ANY COMMON AREAS. ALL OF THE COMMUNAL LIVING ENVIRONMENTS WILL BE RESTRICTED TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF RESIDENTS AND STAFF.

ANY PERSONS IN THE SHELTER WHO DEVELOP A FEVER, COUGH, SORE THROAT, RUNNY NOSE, DIARRHEA, OR NEW LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL MUST NOTIFY SHELTER STAFF IMMEDIATELY.

ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO IS DETERMINED TO BE A CONTACT OF A KNOWN COVID+ PERSON MUST NOTIFY THE SHELTER COORDINATOR IMMEDIATELY.

6.

SHELTER INTAKE WILL BE STRICTLY FROM 5:00 PM TO 7:00 PM UNLESS YOU HAVE COMMUNICATED WITH SHELTER STAFF THAT YOU ARE WORKING OR HAVE A MANDATORY APPOINTMENT WITH DOCUMENTATION PRIOR TO INTAKE.
