Since its formation, SAM25 volunteers have been dedicated to increasing public awareness of poverty and homelessness in the Shawano area. We continue to promote community awareness as we strive to help all those in need. See "Our Programs" for more detail of SAM25 programs available.
Funding from the Shawano Area Community Foundation allowed us to provide “Homeless Kits” for each law enforcement vehicle in Shawano and Menominee Counties as well as to all of the schools, shelters, and other public agencies where the homeless may seek assistance. These kits were our initial attempt to provide an intervention to those who may find themselves without shelter.
Funding from ThedaCare and Thrivent allowed us to sponsor a “Poverty Simulation” that involved fifty (50) volunteers and another fifty (50) participants.

Mens, womens, and childrens clothing, shoes and accessories are available. All proceeds benefit SAM25 Programs. Right now, we are not accepting any donations for the Thrift Store as we are completely full and running out of space for all of our donations.
